Takht-e- Soleyman (or Azargoshtasb fire temple) is the name of a great historical site near Tikab in West Azerbaijan province, is situated in a valley set in a volcanic mountain region. Takht-e- Soleyman was the largest educational, social, and religious center of Iran before Islam, but in 624 AD, in the attack of the Roman emperor Heraclius, was destroyed.
The name of this complex is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Ancient art on Takht-e Soleyman
The designs of the fire temple, the palace and the general layout have strongly influenced the development of Islamic architecture. A lake and a volcano are essential elements of Takht-e Soleyman.
Except for the remnants of urban life and the remains of humans, the remaining structures in this area include the Sassanid and Ilkhani gates, Azar Goshtasb fire temple, Anahita temple and the western porch known as Ivan Khosro.

Parthian, Sassanid Treasures and Ring of Prophet Soleyman are the amazing treasure on Takht-e-Soleyman. The most controversial treasure that may exist on the lake floor is Soleyman's ring. According to folk beliefs, the whole complex was made by super powers who commanded Soleyman. He had a ring that took all his power.
