Bakhtiari Men's clothing: Men wear black felt Hats known as Khosravi hats and Shoshtari felt hats known as Dezfooli hats. Apart from covering their heads, men’s hats have other usages. They use them for measuring grain, and sometimes for carrying water. Chogha, a sleeveless mantle, is knee-length, and there are also vertical black lines on it. Men’s pants are called Debit which is very loose at the ankle, and their shoes are called Giveh which are woven of cotton. Bakhtiari Women's clothing: Mina (a thin veil of silk in blue, yellow, red and purple. Youngsters often wear bright ones and middle-aged and older women wear dark ones), Lachak (a hat worn under Mina). Bakhtiari women adhere expensive stones, coins and gold to Lachak. Geography
Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province lies in the southwestern part of the country. Its capital is Shahrekord. This province is included in the mountainous areas of the central plateau of Iran. It is limited to Isfahan in north and east, to Khozestan in West, to Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad in south, and to Lorestan in the north-west. The capital of the province is Shahrekord. The average height in this province is 2153 meters, so it is called the roof of Iran.
